Due to its low molecular weight, it is able to penetrate the epidermis and be metabolized quickly, becoming vitamin B5.

Properties:

Soothing: Relieves sensations of itching, irritation, and redness.

Repairing: Promotes skin regeneration processes (cell proliferation), helping to repair the skin's natural barrier function and thus reduce water loss. By reducing water loss, it helps to soften the skin, maintain its elasticity, and protect it.

Humectant: It is able to attract water and retain it in the skin.
