BEESWAX

Beeswax is secreted by bees and allows them to build "nests" in which they can store honey. Both honey and beeswax are harvested at the same time by beekeepers, who then separate them by gravity after heating them. Once recovered, the wax is purified for use.

Beeswax is a fatty substance used in cosmetics as a thickener or emulsifier. It has protective and moisturizing properties. Furthermore, it forms a soft, protective film on the skin, and unlike petroleum waxes such as paraffin or petrolatum, if formulated correctly, it does not clog pores.
