MALIC ACID

INCI: Malic Acid

An organic acid obtained from plants, especially from unripe fruits. It is a natural component of plant and animal metabolism, and our bodies produce it when converting carbohydrates into energy.

It is used in cosmetic products to regulate pH. It has a characteristic, intense flavor. On the skin, it regulates pH, promotes moisture retention, and also encourages cell regeneration.
