INCI: Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil

Jojoba oil is extracted from the seed of the jojoba plant (Simmondsia chinensis). It's actually more of a wax than an oil, and it's liquid at room temperature. It's composed of 96% ceramides.

Ceramides coat the cells of the epidermis and help to intensively regulate their hydration. They are very similar to those found in human skin, which is why they are absorbed and act quickly. Jojoba oil also contains linoleic acid, a very effective natural skin restructurer and regenerator. Its vitamin E content also helps to rejuvenate our skin.
