This oil is obtained from the cold pressing of borage seeds, a flowering species belonging to the Boraginaceae family, native to Syria and Egypt.

It represents the richest natural source of the long-chain fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid, with a content of up to 25%. Applied to the skin, it helps maintain its health, combating dehydration and treating any skin irritation or inflammation.
